Xtream credentials and M3U lists

Two common ways to add access in a player, to be used only with lawful sources.

Xtream-style

Xtream-style access often uses three fields: server address, username, and password. The player then builds the catalogue.

An M3U list is a file or URL that enumerates streams. Some players prefer this format; others accept both.

In both cases: lawful sources only. These formats are not a way to bypass DRM or a third-party service’s geographic restrictions.
